Masters (1 yr) or FT

So I did a bit of searching and I didnt see anyone who made a post specifically about a possibly common conundrum: participating in FT recruitment or participating in SA recruitment and applying to a 1 yr masters programs.

Is there anyone who has encountered the same problem?

Is the job market that poor that pursuing a masters straight after undergrad actually looks more enticing?

I am thinking of pursuing a 2-year Masters in Finance program and looking to land a SA spot for the summer. Might try FT as well and if I land it, just drop out of the program.
