MBA after A to A?

I come from a non-target undergraduate school so the thought of attending a top 20 MBA program would be a means of making up for that missed opportunity in undergrad to provide additional credibility.

In the event an analyst is promoted to associate do they typically give up on exploring MBA routes? In my opinion as stated earlier, given the opportunity I think I would still be interested in a top MBA program because I feel like I have missed out on that "top school" opportunity in my undergrad.

What are your thoughts? (Please no insults, genuinely looking for feedback)
