MBA Associate Corporate Exit Opps

I understand that the majority of post-mba associates go into corporate development, but I am curious what other roles you have seen. Do you ever see associates exit to sales, corporate strategy, business development/partnerships, or an operating role? Is it possible to move into a corporate role with p/l responsibilities down the line? Would love to hear any exits that you have seen that are outside of the norm.
