MBA IB Recruiting - opinions on current options?
Hey all,
Going through MBA IB recruiting now. The way it works here is you network all fall with the various banks via open presentations and one-on-one coffee chats, then the banks begin hosting closed-list dinners. Basically, they vet for fit before the resume drop even happens. Anyway, closed-list period /actual interviews will start soon and though I have been invited to a few, I can see conflicts (and hard choices) on the horizon. If you skip an event, you are generally cut from that bank's interview list. With this in mind, I was hoping to get the opinions of some of the folks on here of the spots I've secured a closed list dinner. Keep in mind this is for associate and I'm looking at long term career prospects, not exits like most analysts. If you have any thoughts on any of the following where I've been invited to a closed, I would love to hear it:
Bulge

- MS Pool
- JPM (Talking to P&U and DI teams)
- CS (M&A, Power)
- Citi (Power, Industrials teams)
- Barclays (Power team, Media/Communications)
- BAML (M&A, Power)
Boutique
- Evercore
- Lazard
- Moelis
