MBA or Masters of Quantitative Finance

I am a rising undergraduate senior and I might have a job for a middle market bank this summer, but if not do you think an MBA or a Masters of Finance would be more beneficial and why?

The general consensus on this site is that an MBA outside of the top 15/20 is pretty much useless for IB (assuming that's what you want), and especially if you are still a student with no full-time experience. Either way, it will be very difficult to get into a top MBA without 4-5 years of work experience.

I am currently in a MSF program, albeit not a quantitative one. IB from an MSF is definitely doable, although you'll want to be at a top program and be ready to network your ass off. I'm not sure what IB recruitment looks like from a quantitative MSF, but you better have a good story as to why you're pursuing IB from a quantitative degree.

Can you elaborate on what you mean you might have a job for an MM this summer? Do you have an offer that you fear might be rescinded or are you still in the interview process?
