I was a walk-on QB once and had some complete asshole coaches and some great coaches, so I have been through the wringer a few times in a sense. I would imagine it is similar, they “coach” (push) you hard because everyone’s job relies on it. Is it rare to enjoy your VP/MD, or one of those things where only the bad is talked about so it is magnified?
