Mech Engineering at a UC(top 4)

Hey everybody , So ever since my last year of high school i've been wanting to work in Investment Banking but family pressure ( you HAVE to be an engineer or lawyer.... ) so here i am after 3 tumultuous years of transferring from cc after leaving my country because of an explosion. I've been networking like a madman and i have some people i know in IB at GS NY. Referred me last year but didn't really work out. I have 2 engineering internships and unfortunately no finance internship yet. I should graduate in 2025. In the meantime, i took online certifications from Wharton and Yale and did all the virtual internships ( JP Morgan ib virtual internship amongst others) I could to get some exposure to the field. I guess my question would be: What can i do, considering my options and my uni to break into IB or Consulting (if it then makes the jump easier) i also speak fluently french and arabic if that could be helpful.

Thanks!
