Media and Entertainment Banks?

Last thread on this was posted 2009. Was hoping to get some updated insight into the top banks for media and entertainment, both at the BB and Boutique level. Thank you in advance.

Cool thanks for the reply! I know a bunch of BBs have TMT groups, and what not, across East and West Coasts, but would you say most of their Media and Entertainment deal flow is run through NYC offices (as a result of most tech being run through Cali)?

From what I've heard (direct source), the team is brutal.

A LinkedIn search would show that exits over the past 5 years include BX, KKR, SLP, Warburg, Hellman, Citadel. So I guess a lot of people on this forum would think that the sweatshop life was worthwhile for those

Stella EOC was a pretty solid boutique with 5 offices around Europe and the US. Very involved in the media and entertainment space including a few exits and sales to the BBC. You can check out their past investments https://web.archive.org/web/20190106073659/http://stellaeoc.com/success…</a">here. They recently https://stellaeoc.com/</a">sold to GCA Altium in 2020 and not sure how ring-fenced they are from the rest of the broader GCA firm. Worth checking out. Another notable boutique to mention is https://aream.co/</a">Aream & Co. Super boutique but very involved in the video-game industry, including some exits to really well-known players such as Ubisoft. https://antenna-group.com/</a">Antenna also focuses in media and has a small but decent global footprint although most of their work seems to be based in Greece or Europe.

Are there any groups that specialize in the real estate side of the entertainment business vis a vis the stage rental and studio rental space?
