dpideritstop the sec hype please... Tennesse got jacked, Arkansas got jacked (by a PAC10 team btw) and Georgia needed a miraculous comeback

exactly...pretty pathetic that coaches in the sec can't seem to beat "weaker" conference teams even with their annual top 10 recruiting classes.

sec is a joke.

First off Arkansas is not the #2 SEC team. LSU is, and that is why they are in the BCS and not Arkansas. Second, the refs jacked up Arkansas for 12 penalties and McFadden was injured. They would have put a beatdown on Wisconson's weak ass if they were at full strength. We all saw how weak Big 10 was today when Michigan got beat down by USC. We will see who is laughing last when Florida exposes Ohio State and LSU romps Notre Dame.

P.S. Big 10 didn't even have a bowl win until today. SEC is 4-3.

how weak the big 10 was? i believe unranked penn state doubled up on (ranked) tennessee.

LSWho will romp ND only because Weis can't draw up a defense to save his fat ass.

florida over ohio state? give me a break, although if urban cries enough he might convince tressel to sit troy so he doesn't get injured before draft day.

Guess we will have to wait until next Monday to find out if SEC #1 trumps Big Ten #1, but watching Michigan get it handed to them by a team with losses to Or. State and UCLA makes you wonder how strong the Buckeyes win (at home) against Michigan really was. Bottom line, SEC and Big Ten are close but I think you would have to admit top to bottom SEC has a little more depth. PAC 10 sucks.

top to bottom SEC has more depth, but the SEC is still highly overrated. every year SEC teams stock up with some of the best recruiting classes, but get outplayed on the field more than you would expect.

Just following up on this thread, as I said I would, to make sure Daboss remembered his claim that the SEC was so overrated. Don't know if you saw, but Ohio State got manhandled and LSU dominated. Guess the SEC isn't so overrated afterall. Instead, it is the most dominate conference in America.

SEC is both the best conference in America as well as the most overhyped conference in America. It's clearly better, but not as good as people make it out to be--after all, Big Ten vs. SEC was 2-2 (if you include ND)

Big Ten is impressive (relative) for the talent it recruits; everyone knows football is life in the South.

I think USC could beat Ohio State and Florida.

Mikesdaboss- Arkansas is not number 2 team in SEC even though it lost in the SEC champsionship game.
