Michigan State (Finance major) (Broad) vs University of Michigan (econ major) (not ross)

Hey everyone,
I am currently attending a non-target school and am entering my 3rd year. my goal is to eventually work in IBD at a BB. To increase my chances of achieving this, I decided I want to transfer for the beginning of spring semester. My options are between MSU (Broad school of business) and UM (Ross). With UM being the obvious choice, in case I do not get in to Ross, which would be a better option for me? MSU (Broad school) or UM (economics major).

Thanks!
