Middle Office Investment Banking
I am 23M who will be joining a BB in their MO IB (like GS Bengaluru) team supporting bankers abroad on deal reps from a small no name boutique but FO role. Some questions I have:
- I was wondering how would the FO to MO shift look on my resume when recruiting for FO roles.
- Also does anyone know how the internal mobility is to Indian FO or abroad given they advertise it on the JD?
- Is there any difference between BBs for the same role?
- How is the work? Is it mostly basic editing or also some critical thinking in terms of models?
- For anyone who has worked here how has the role helped you in you career in high finance?
