Hi guys,
just a couple of quick questions
for minority interest account in Equity, from what I understand that it acts like a retained earnings - meaning its beginning balance + profit to NCI - dividends to NCI = ending balance - anything wrong here?
from a firm's statements I've scanned, the dividends paid out seems to be in a different ratio from the Profit attributable to the parent/NCI - why is this so?
would welcome anyone who can clarify in more detail re this & more on NCI, thanks!
