MM IB -> LMM
Is it likely for a 2/3 year IB associate to exit to private equity?
If not, what’s the optimal amount of time to stay in IB to enjoy the perks (big one being higher pay than PE at Jr level) before leaving banking. Specifically MM / LMM exits, no MF.
