MM IB locations

I have two offers from top MM banks but in different locations. One is in Minneapolis and the other in Richmond, VA. Same salary.

Which city is better in terms of deals/experience?

Thanks

Really hard to tell without knowing the firms or groups. If it’s a top MM in Minneapolis then I assume you might be taking about Piper. Minneapolis is their HQ so it really depends on what group you’re in. For Richmond a lot of banks have their Aerospace and Defense as well as Business Services groups based there. Deal flow really just depends on your group, bank - keep in mind what industry/product group you prefer

I'd imagine its a small group for WB, but if they do tech then 100% take that. Otherwise both are great options and I'd look into each groups deal flow and how much you like the teams.
