MM IB or Top AM?
I have gotten an offer from a top asset manager ($350+ B) and one from a middle market IB, even though a non-US hq one. Both are third year summer analyst positions.
My question is whether IB will be a good place to grow, network, and learn for a couple of years to then switch to AM (PE, HF, etc.) or going directly to AM (PE, HF or RE) is a better option.
What do you guys think?
