MM IB Perks
Wondering what the perks are looking like at solid MM banks (HL/Baird/HW etc). Ideally looking for input from the midwest. Ubers, dinner, more unique perks? Accepted a SA 25 position and am just wondering as apposed to some of my friends going to BB/EB in NYC.

It’s really hard to overstate how enormous the cost difference is being in the Midwest vs NYC or SF. People also don’t get it unless you’ve lived in both. It’s not just the rent difference or cost of drinks, but it’s also the pressure to upgrade lifestyle. Midwest behavior is just way less flashy and conservative throughout the chain. Generally, Midwest you can send kids to public school vs private school which is enormous. Generally, the rent people pay and houses people live in is slower to upgrade than elsewhere.
This is the main one I've heard which is huge. Women also actually want to start families and the vibe is just more chill.
Not in IB but can vouch for the low cost of living in the Midwest. It’s dirt cheap. Your disposable income will be significantly higher in the mid west.
