MM IB vs top BB DCM
I'm interested in going to a HF or an upper-tier active manager after banking though still open to PE as I can't say I've figured it all out. Mainly interested in the technology and healthcare sectors and the MM IB role is in one of those sectors at a firm in the vicinity of (Harris Williams, Ray Jay, Blair, Piper, etc.). Not sure if a top 3 BB DCM capital markets team is better than mm ib if I wanted to lateral after 1-2 years to a better bank to optimize for exits.
