MM M&A Exit Opportunity
I have recently been offered a graduate position at one of the big four firms for 'Financial Advisory - M&A' where I will have completed the ACA after my first year. From what I gather it is MM M&A and I wanted to understand the kind of exit opportunities that this job could bring, whether it be 3, 5, or 10 years down the line (e.g PE/Hedgefund etc). Any help and guidance is greatly appreciated!
PE is the most common for exit opportunities (for bankers), but you can really do whatever you want.
Thank you for your response. Do you think PE is limited to BB firms or are jobs still accessible coming from a MM background?
Am I am assuming this is for London. Direct PE will be LMM at best MM. You can always transition into a EB/BB after 2/3 years and recruit from there as an associate ( in Europe funds are more flexible before the VP level).
