MM/EB/BB FT after SA at boutique

I’m a current junior and this summer I have an internship at a boutique bank in the south, and I was wondering how feasible it would be to get a full-time position at a MM, BB, or EB in Chicago for full-time post graduation.

my GPA is a 3.71 and i’m from a semi-target.

Any input would be appreciated.

Reach out to alumni / connections NOW before the internship starts for general advice on how to do well, check in with them halfway or 3/4 through the internship to update them or ask questions, and then ask about lateraling or recruiting for FT. If you start now, it’ll be more genuine if you want to move and you’ll have time to think through if that’s a good/bad decision. Doing this will help you make the right decision, no matter what you want to so
