No one at Moelis gives a fuck about double major in stem and let alone the Ivy degree. Its about you doing well in networking calls so you can have 2 - 3 bankers vouching for you. If you get the interview, its up to you to know your shit. SF team does tech so you should have a very good reason why you want to do tech instead of other groups such as life sci or generalist in NYC. Also, I assume you would also need a good reason why you who goes to a school in the East Coast wants to work in SF. Then, you should expect the usual Moelis technical questions + tech sector specific questions. First round and the most of the SD would be technical questions, so be ready for that. Btw, Moelis doesn't have diversity-specific easy technical questions; if you do a little bit of LinkedIn search you'd be able to realize Moelis has the lowest number of diversity employees among the boutiques.
