I refuse to go into another lockdown - I wore a mask for over a year as I wanted to “do my part”, but I realized it was all bullshit. Yes, I’m vaccinated, but no boosters. I’ve gotten Covid at least once (most likely twice), with both times occurring after the jabs.

Our government has continuously lied to us. First it was masks don’t do anything, and then it was mandatory to wear one. Now, over 2 years into this nonsense, it’s known masks do nothing yet Biden still puts one on for photo ops. You must wear a mask unless you’re a liberal politician, then of course COVID magically doesn’t affect you. Oh, and any right wing event is a super spreader, but if you’re looting and destroying property by the tens of thousands, it’s ok as long as you vote Democrat.

There is a 99% chance Covid originated from a Chinese lab. It’s absurd how people just ignore this. Now, we’ve got another fucking man-made virus supposedly on the loose. Fauci can go fuck himself with all the needles used for the useless boosters. Fuck the CDC too - who the fuck do they think they are to have the power to issue an eviction moratorium?

I haven’t worn a mask in over a year and go out and am surrounded by others without a mask. Anyone who still wears a mask because they’re fearful of Covid is a clown. The bad news is even if this new virus is actually lethal, nobody will take it serious as the government has lied so much concerning Covid. Remember Biden saying he wouldn’t take a vaccine for Covid? Oh wait, that’s because trump was president. Suddenly, the vaccine is the greatest invention in the history of mankind now that Biden is president.

Yeah I agree with you 100%. When I see people with masks on I just think they are mentally retarded, because anyone with the ability to slightly critically think knows that they don't do anything.

I hope this time people won't stand for it, if the government tries and forces it upon us. It doesn't take much to not comply, but these idiots have lost their minds.

But your right about the virtue signaling, it's beyond brain dead. I don't know if you've seen the movie don't look up, but that reminds me of this.

I'm about to go to university so I'm praying I can actually be in person and on campus.

Huh??? Wasn't "Don't Look Up" about how they ignored the problems, didn't listen to the science and only believed it once it was too late? That movie is a terrible analogy for your incredibly stupid argument. C'mon son. Use your head, don't be a moron.

Funniest

dumb bitch lady at my building keeps telling me to put my mask on, monkey or donkey or wonkey pox, idc not puttin the stalin mouth diaper on any more

Yeah but vaccines are now politicised and one side of the political spectrum completely refuses to take them which means we're probably fucked.

I don't think we'll go into lockdown again. Lockdowns didn't work the first time against covid and it won't work against monkeypox. Smallpox vaccines are said to be effective against it and most people already have that vaccine and it's not as contagious as covid so it won't spread like wildfire the way covid did, monkeypox also is not deadly. I don't wear a mask anymore and I'm not going to start again. About to head to NYC in June and I plan on enjoying the city. Fuck monkeypox, fuck covid, fuck fear-mongering, fuck any power-hungry whore that wants to put people on lockdown in the name of "public safety," and fuck any pussy that is scared of this shit after two years of lies and manipulation.

Lockdowns aren't about stopping the spread, it's about control. And governments love being in control...

Exactly. Hence why I put public safety in quotes. I’m over it and have been for a well over a year at this point. Like I said, I don’t think we’ll go into lockdown again and if we do I’m not complying. Fuck them.

Apologies if I come across overly aggressive/triggered it’s just that I despise government control over our lives and the past two years have cemented that for me.

Are you an American?  If so, you never experienced a lockdown.  Lockdowns have actually been extremely effective, when they've actually been enforced.  Think Shanghai recently.

The fact that no American is going to put up with that means we'll never get there, but it's always absurd to hear Americans talk about "lockdowns" when all that meant most places was you had to wear a tiny little mask for like 5 minutes a day if you wanted to go to a store.

>Lockdowns have actually been extremely effective, when they've actually been enforced.  Think Shanghai recently.

There is ZERO evidence China's lockdowns contained C0VID. I have no doubt they lied through their teeth about their 2 week lockdown back in Feb 2020 and managed to eradicate the virus for 2 years. Please. Lockdowns don't work and they never have. We destroyed our economies for nothing.

So someone has to give a reason to critique your shitty take, which itself gave no reasons?  Why are we going into a lockdown over monkeypox.  Who told you this?  Why is that, instead of, say... ebola, or whatever else?

You don't get to demand a higher standard of treatment than you are willing to offer up.
