The analyst in Investment Banking Management works as part of a small junior team that supports the senior leadership of Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division. The position provides an opportunity to participate in a variety of strategic projects for the Investment Banking Division and learn from Firm executives.

Key responsibilities include

• Financial analysis for various strategic planning assignments

• Building analyses and presentations about the division’s performance and strategic initiatives

• Constructing strategic presentations and speeches delivered by Firm executives

• Executing on Divisional projects focused on regulatory matters, risk management, technology, and compliance

• Acting as the liaison between Investment Banking Management and other parts of the Firm and division

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills; interest in gaining knowledge in strategic matters related to Investment Banking

• Ability to interface well with all levels of employees in a highly professional and friendly manner

• Excellent computer skills

• Solid interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills

• An ability to work independently, multi-task and manage tight timelines while exhibiting high quality performance

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to maintain confidential information
