The analyst in Investment Banking Management works as part of a small junior team that supports the senior leadership of Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division. The position provides an opportunity to participate in a variety of strategic projects for the Investment Banking Division and learn from Firm executives.
Key responsibilities include
Financial analysis for various strategic planning assignments
Building analyses and presentations about the division’s performance and strategic initiatives
Constructing strategic presentations and speeches delivered by Firm executives
Executing on Divisional projects focused on regulatory matters, risk management, technology, and compliance
Acting as the liaison between Investment Banking Management and other parts of the Firm and division
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills; interest in gaining knowledge in strategic matters related to Investment Banking
Ability to interface well with all levels of employees in a highly professional and friendly manner
Excellent computer skills
Solid interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
An ability to work independently, multi-task and manage tight timelines while exhibiting high quality performance
Strong attention to detail
Able to maintain confidential information
