Most Important Variables for Precedent Transaction Analysis?

I am completing my thesis research project on the topic of critical variables in precedent transaction valuation. I know some critical factors are: EV/Revenue, EV/EBITDA, EV/EBIT, P/E, and P/Book Value.

What other factors/variables do you as finance professionals look to in evaluating a company?

How critical are variables such as: ROA %, EBITDA Margin, ROE %, Price/Cash Flow, AP Turnover, Quick Ratio, Current Ratio, LT Debt to Equity, Interest Coverage, Cash flow per share, revenue/employee, etc.

I do not have any concrete finance experience, but I want my project to be as accurate as possible so any guidance is appreciated.

Thank you!
