Move from a boutique to a smaller boutique for more exposure?
My current boutique gives me nearly 0 exposure to anything but the photocopier and local Starbucks, so what do you guys think of a lateral to a smaller boutique (much less deal flow) for a promised increase in responsibilities and exposure to deals, modelling etc.
The reason I'm not all over this right away is because I'm not in NYC but instead a very close-knit city where everyone knows the top shops and am worried it'll affect me when recruiting time comes around because the BB's might think I got fired and settled for whatever I could get.
