moving after junior summer?

hi, i am incoming to a capital markets group at a top BB next summer. not entirely sure what i want to do after banking and therefore was not very concerned with exits when i was recruiting, but it seems like i may have cooked myself by choosing a division with virtually none. spiraling a bit and would appreciate any insight from anyone who may have done the following and how it went for them:

  1. lateral from GCM to coverage at the same bank — what was that process like and do you think there is strong HR resistance
  2. lateral from GCM to coverage at another bank — i know this process kicks off mid-summer, but what does the actual networking/interview cycle look like
  3. stay in GCM — i was interested in project finance, and have heard the project finance team at this bank is decently strong, but it’s competitive and i’m not exactly sure if the exit opps are there (would love insight on this)

the bank is strong enough that its name on my resume is impressive, but i don’t know if that’s necessarily enough to land me somewhere good after my analyst stint. would love to hear what you all recommend
