Moving from Corp Dev into IB

Hi. 2Y tech CD associate here/non target undergrad/ did boutique consulting previously so no banking experience. Did 3 small deals at $10B tech company. Heading to MBA #10-15 this year, looking to move into banking to get more deal experience. Ideally want to do TMT in west coast (Evercore, Qatalyst) but obviously BB would be nice for future opps.

1) Any advice on what banks I should realistically shoot for? 2) Will the recruiting process be more stringent for someone who has deal experience vs. a career pivoter? Not sure how bankers feel about corp dev people moving into banking, given the contrast in lifestyle and that most people are going the opposite way.
