Moving from no name MM shop to BB or upper MM

Hey Guys, I'm currently a DCM Associate (Analyst to Associate promote and went to a target school for undergraduate) at a no name middle market bank. I know there is stigma against DCM work, but I'm in it for the long run and like the hours/no weekends. Unfortunately, I don't think my bank will be implementing associate pay raises from ~120K to ~150K. I think only the BB and upper MM banks are doing that. With that in mind, I'd like to move into a better bank ASAP to get access to better deal flow and better pay. For folks who have been in the industry for awhile, what do you think is the best way to lateral into a better bank (outside of applying for positions blindly). Thanks.
