Moving to America from Australia

Hi all,

I've always wanted to relocate to America long term due to my partner living there but have no idea what the process looks like. To give you a bit of context, I graduate from a target university earl next year and have completed an internship at a BBIB and various other smaller internships. I'm looking to work as a first-year analyst or graduate at a BBIB in preferably NYC. I can only imagine it is very competitive and can imagine that the recruitment process is fairly different to Australia also factoring in visas etc. Any insight/advice is appreciated TLDR: want to work in IB in NYC. Have done BBIB internships in Australia. Has anyone done this before as a graduate and offer any insight into the process?

Cheers
