Was wondering how hard is it to move from continental Europe to Canada in terms of getting a job/ visa requirements etc. with prior boutique M&A experience? Any tips, best practices, experiences?
Also would appreciate if someone could shine some light on the best way to go about job search - headhunters? LinkedIn networking? 3-day networking trip?

Getting a visa would not be too hard (2-year working holiday visa), however, banks and boutiques want to recruit from Canadian target schools that they know and built relationship with. Breaking into banking with no prior background in Canada would be really difficult, assuming your boutique was regional/no-name ?
