Has anybody done the Finance Summer Analyst (Controllers, Liquidity etc). program and networked successfully into IBD FT? This is specifically at Morgan Stanley, any input or advice on networking internally during the summer would be much appreciated.
Or anyone that has done a similar SA their junior year and landed a IBD FT at the same firm or another firm?

It's definitely possible and have seen it done before. More often it is finance on the trading side -> S&T FT, but I've seen some IBD too. Helps if you go to a target.
Are there specific groups within Finance that would help me best position myself?
Maybe Credit Risk because they pair up with the bankers on deals?
