Saw SA 2027 applications opened up for both Firm Strategy & Execution and Firmwide Strategy, from my understanding these are similar/the same across MS and GS. From the description in the application these teams seem to work on principal M&A transactions for their respective firms rather than clients, but I was curious about how they compare to more traditional IB roles in terms of career path, compensation, etc.
