natural resources group in asia
hi everybody.
just got assigned to the natural resources team under GIG in HK for a major BB (one of top 3)
anybody know anything about deal flow in that particular industry in that specific region right now?
china driving the demand?
what about the exit opps?
the way i think about it, i think its better to do NR in asia than US (or most other places) right now
plz share what you know / think, thanks.
p.s. NR includes both energy (oil & gas) and metals & mining.

nat res demand is really hot in asia - you should have a great experience. def some big energy m&a deals happening in the next few months.
Energy is a no brainer hot sector/concern in Asia.
