  1. "... how would a previous career as a SEAL look to recruiters?"

- Combined with the right school, it will get you interviews

  1. "... I don't know many SEALs trying to work in I Banking..."

- Do you know any at all?

  1. "... 'targets' HBS, Stanford, Wharton..."

- Do you understand what you are saying?

If you are a) able to make into one of the toughest, to get into mentally, units in the military and do everything associated with that afterwords then b) able to academically attend a top school, and finally c) be in the top 1-2 people out of the however many applying for a BB job for a couple years.... OF COURSE you're a top candidate for top business schools. Do you know how many people can realistically achieve success in all 3 areas? Good luck bud

If your dream was actually to be a SEAL, you wouldn't give a shit how it looks to B-Schools, etc. IT seems more like a passing fancy. Only those who truely want it make it through the training.

These crazy fuckers just freed that hostage captain and KILLED EVERYONE in the process. Do you really think they give a rat's ass what some pencil-dick whose been in a classroom or a cubicle his whole life thinks about them?

I was just thinking that would be a good excuse for SEALs to do some crazy shit.

"They established clear head shots on all three pirates. One of the pirates was visible through the front window, and the other two were revealing their heads through the top hatch, presumably to get fresh air. It would be their last breath. It was an extremely happy ending" - three shots, three dead. I'm assuming these were from distances approaching or exceeding a mile, between ships and on open seas, all to the head. That's fucking badass

westfaldThis was purely hypothetical, you guys take these posts way too seriously. Emerging alpha relax, I don't care.

Then what was the point of your post? Did you just want everyone to respond, "oh yeah that'd be sweet!" Well ok Navy Seals are awesome. There you go

Similarily, what are the chances of President of China (I want to take over after Hu Jintao) for American BB IBD? I hear its a great way to get a guaranteed FT and I wouldn't mind taking that career route for such a chance.

I am hoping that at the least I can use the threat of nuclear war in order to secure a job over the other candidates and this will definitely set me apart as an individual. I can also threaten to invade Taiwan and undermine the U.S. in the Middle East in order to secure a BB offer. What do you guys think about this awesome easy-in?

...Being a Seal would definitely get you a job on Wall St. or practically anywhere else for that matter. Problem is that if you are crazy enough to make it through Seal training, then you are not going to be the type of person (ie a geeky loser) who would want to work in banking. The street is full of ex-military, but not to many people who are special forces or elite units like Army Rangers or Navy Seals for this reason.

It's a 30 m shot, but they were all headshots, and one was through a window with the man having an AK in the pilot's back. Additionally, the target is moving up and down a couple of feet.
