I am an intern, so take all my thoughts with a grain of salt. I believe it shows tremendous work ethic and discipline, and would bet most people in finance feel the same. One of the managing partners at my firm has a similar background, but to be fair he went Navy ==> Submarine Officer ==> Navy M&A group ==> H/W/S MBA. I think most people will tell you that while the experience is definitely respected to, most firms will not see it as relevant. My advice would be to craft a solid story for why IB post military service. Good luck
