Hi I need some advice, I networked with an alum throughout summer, whos from a non-target and he said he would pass my resume along. He told me that non-target recruiting starts in the last week of Sept and I haven't gotten a called yet. I was wondering do you think I should call him tomorrow and see what the deal is or wait until next Monday and ask him? Or should I email him? Hes a busy guy so I don't want to call him out of the blue or does it not matter? Thanks

Assuming it's full-time, I'd call him right now. Just say you wanted to check in and see if you could do anything else to make you a better candidate, and what the process looks like.
