Need help choosing between boutique ibank internships

I have two offers on the board; unpaid I-banking internship for boutique in NY or paid I-bank boutique in portland, OR

Which would you choose and why? Thanks

If it's the bank in Portland I think it is, they have good tech flow.

That said I'd generally lean towards a paid internship. How strong your existing network is should also play a factor, as if it could stand to be strengthened there's a lot to be said for being able to meet people over lunch.

In more details- the one in portland is focused on facilities services/telecom and the one in NY is energy/healthcare , each has about 3-4 employees .

I feel like being in NY might unlock more opportunities to meet people and network there - thoughts?

Either one sounds like a great choice.

Coming from a similar situation, I've done an unpaid internship at a boutique IB in NYC. I learned so much, and it gave me the opportunity to intern at another, more known, boutique for the summer (paid).

Definitely need more details, in order to pick the better bank.
