(Need help) MM IB -> BB/EB/PE with the help of Master's degree or MBA
Hi,
Background: Final Year Student from an absolute non-target who has just secured a Summer Internship with MM M&A team (think Houlihan Lokey, BIG 4, Piper Jaffray, Harris Williams, Lincoln Intl, etc.)
For a student who aspires to work in BB/EB/PE, is it better to do a Summer Internship at MM IB and then do the Master's of Finance at a top non-UK business school (HEC Paris, Bocconi, ESSEC, ESCP, St. Gallen) straight after the summer?
Or should I try and get the full-time offer at MM IB, try to get to the associate level, quit, do an MBA at a top school (any) and try to apply to EB/BB/PE?
What are your thoughts?
