Need Opinions on SA---Patent IB

What would you guys think of this description for duties as a summer intern. This is for a unique patent acquisition and valuation firm....

"Among the projects that I could immediately require your assistance.
Productization / Marketing launch Assistance related to transaction information services
Due Diligence and Compliance Requirement Research and Findings Related to Initiating Coverage for Institutional Investors on Select Sector"

It sounds good as background to going into IB but I need some opinions...

Kind of-

I am in a unique sue situation. I gave up a full-time S&T gig at BAML to go to oxford in the fall to go to grad school. I am definitely on a non-traditional path.

I have these options:

Minimally paid gig at a B-D in new york, its a solid offer- half time with trader, half time with sales staff

unpaid VC job also in new york, sounds very interesting but it would so fucking expensive to live there and not get paid.

The deal in the OP. I also want to point out that this firm specializes in Patent and Intellectual property-based M&A, so i would get valuable experience on that end. I think what they do is work as an Ib to big TMT corps when they acguire key tech patents from startups etc...

I thought at the very least it looks unique and interesting on a resume.

However, it is not in a good networking city.
