Nepotism in IB
Let’s share our favorite nepotism stories - I’ll go first: my friend used to date this guy who didn’t get a return from a BB (told everyone he did) and his friend’s dad (CEO of major public company) called an EB (think Evercore, Soc Gen, Truist) and just got him a job. She said he now somehow works in PE.
calling soc gen and truist an EB is the most libtard shit ive heard. Also, yes nepotism is retarded. He probably got that BB offer because his dad hooked him up. I know a kid whose dad is a MD at a BB on one of their prestigious teams and handed his son a JPM, MS, and GS IB offer by just making a few phone calls for SA.
