Networking Contacts Silent After Interview - What Do I Make Of This Situation?

I interviewed with a firm that I extensively networked with. One of the people that I networked with actually ended up interviewing me and I even had a chat scheduled with someone else on the team day after to discuss how the interview went.

So I'm not sure how to feel right now as here's the dilemma: Communication from my contacts went absolutely cold. The person whom I knew and interviewed me didn't respond to my thank you email while the other interviewer who I didn't network with responded to my email. For context: Interview happened on Monday and meeting was supposed to happen today. The one who interviewed me was also the one who pushed my application forward (still grateful of that fact) and we even had a one hour networking call prior where we talked about our common interests. On top of that, I was stood up when it came to the meeting that was supposed to take place today. I sent an email to that contact as well and nothing. I feel confused as they were super responsive before the interview as I had asked for advice heading into interview day and believed to have had a good connection with them. They're both honestly great people and was a big motivator for why I wanted to join the firm, which adds to the confusion.

What do I make of this situation? Is this normal and am I possibly overthinking? Is there a protocol where they're not allowed to have contact with candidates until after decisions are made? Is this essentially indication that I won't be moving forward with the firm?

Don't worry, in the best-case scenario, they have not had time to respond. I have previously been in two similar situations for two different companies:

1) Wrote a thank you email and said that I had gotten another offer. They ignored me for 1.5 weeks, and then called me and scheduled another interview. I got the offer.

2) Wrote a thank you email in another process at a different bank and was ignored for maybe 4 days. Then I got a call from an unknown number congratulating me on the offer.
