How are your cold email hit rates looking lately? I'm getting a major decline in responses during this whole crisis, barely anyone replying to cold emails asking for informational phone call.

Do people think networking is appropriate at this time, or should we wait until COVID stops being a problem?
Just my opinion.
Even though it seems like bankers have more time since they're WFH (no commute, lower deal activity, etc.), but the fact is most of them are more occupied with how the market play out in the next couple of weeks, not to mention they are somewhat anxious about their job security as well.
For now, I just shot cold emails and sent Linkedin messages specifying that I would appreciate the chance for a coffee chat once everything resumes to normal and would follow up with them then.
Bump — response rates have also declined for me.
