Networking during COVID -- good or bad time?
young undergrad here. I've had some junior people in the industry tell me this is a great time to network more aggressively because people have more time and will probably be more likely to want to talk given everyone's lack of interpersonal interaction right now. But then others have said that in a time like this it would be inconsiderate to reach out to alumni / other contacts in the industry given the craziness of everything going on. So to everyone working right now, what's your view -- would reaching out to people for a phone call right now be an annoyance, or is now actually a more ideal time to be networking?
