Networking from Ops

Hey guys,

I had a quick search but couldn't find much on this topic.

Basically I am interning at a top BB this Summer in Ops and I am aiming for IB next Summer. I already know a few guys in IB at this bank.

So basically I am wondering what will be the best way to network with other guys from IB? Should I approach other interns and ask for them to refer me to their MD or can i cold email from the firms directory? Or something else completely?
