Networking through established retirees from BB IBD
I know that college students looking to get into BB IBD typically network through current employees at the firm. I'm shortly going to meet this guy who was MD at DB in Sales for about 15 years and retired some time in the past couple years. Any suggestions for how to approach meeting him? A good family friend of mine is trying to get him in touch with me, so I'm not sure if we would meet in person or through phone. The ideal result obviously would be to get into DB corporate and investment bank (M&A if possible) for an internship in summer 2014.
