Networking WRT Location
Hey everyone,
Quick question on networking and when it comes to recruiting time. If I'm having info interviews on the phone with alumni working in chicago, la, etc, would they pretty much only go to bat for me if I apply for those locations, or send in my resume for these locations (assuming they like me enough to help me out)?
I don't know that much yet, but from what it seems on this board NYC is the strongest for the majority of banks desks, other than UBS LA, etc., but I wouldn't want to ask an alum in Chicago to pass my resume to their NYC branch.
Thoughts, tips? Thanks for the help.
