So, I've invented a new investment security that I'm quite positive doesn't currently exist. To make long questions short, can one patent or copyright an investment security? In addition, I'm fairly detached from Wall Street from my Washington, D.C. office. How does one even go about marketing a new investment security? Frankly, I'm at a complete loss as to how to proceed.
