No Bonus Thread??!

Haven't seen one yet and want to see what the street is paying juniors in the covid era. Seems like lots of kids will be getting their numbers in the coming days/weeks. Let's do the usual

Bank: EB /BB /MM
Position: An1/2/3
Bonus: $$$
Bucket:

Anything else?

Sucks that it was down but that actually doesn't seem too bad.

Bank: Middle Tier MM Position: AN1 Bonus: $35K Bucket: Upper Middle

In talking to peers, down about 15% YoY

Bank: MM Position: AN1 Bonus: $40k Bucket: Top

Anecdotally heard that highest bonus last year was $45k, so in line w/ the 10-15% reductions others have mentioned. Also, fuck having a top bucket bonus be ~50% of base - w/ how much the government takes to redistribute and fund the world's largest ponzi scheme, shooting for mid-bucket is the better play.

Bank: Top Industry Boutique Pos: AN1 Bonus: 80k Bucket: Top

IK bonus seems good but I genuinely have worked ~1.25-1.5x the hours of most of my banking contemporaries/friends. My roommates were coming home 11-1 and I was routinely going home at 4-6. I was logging in 110h/wk for 6 months straight and would guess that I averaged ~95h/wk over my first year. Not complaining - very grateful to have a good-paying job during COVID and feels like I learned a lot but just wanted to give some context to the numbers
