No HH outreach yet as first year analyst?
Might be a silly question, but are most first years hearing anything from HHs for PE recruiting? I’ve been on the job for a little over a month (training then 2 weeks on job) and haven’t heard anything yet.
Only reason I ask is my friend at top bank in top group is getting all sorts of inbounds for intros/coffee chats and I’m hearing nothing.
I’m at an in-between bank that’s not really BB tier (WF/ RBC/ etc) and am worried that my bank just isn’t appealing enough for PE recruiting. Should I be reaching out to headhunters?
At an EB (EVR/PJT/CVP). Reached out to HH and they explicitly said it was still too early to start conversation with our class right now. We are on their radar and they will reach out when the time comes
Top group at gs/ms/jp here and I haven’t heard anyone getting reached out to yet either.
