No-name IB Boutique -> T7 MBA Possible?

Quick background about myself: I am turning 26 in December and currently started my second year of being an analyst at a boutique investment banking firm that has been around since 2020. I am the firm’s first-ever analyst hire and am being promoted to senior analyst in a few months.

I attended Rutgers and majored in finance minored in economics and graduated with a 3.6 GPA, before that I attended community college where I graduated with a 3.3 GPA. I messed around in high school and graduated with a 2.1 GPA and CC was my only option. During my college years, I interned at two search funds, interned at the same boutique I am currently employed at for a year, was a part of MLT prep (career prep program that also has an MBA Prep program), had a leadership role for a club on campus, and was a researcher for one of my economics professors.

Now, I am thinking of doing an MBA program at one of the top schools to get out of IB and go into corporate development. I wanted to come on here and ask what are my chances and what I need to do….should I go to another firm, should I do some community service work, etc?

For context, I took the GMAT a year ago and scored a 764 since I was going to do a MSF prior to getting a full-time offer at my current firm. I am willing to retake it if needed.

Looking forward to everyone’s comments!
