Send him a quant job listing with the 6-fig salary and the requirements including prior internships + other skills.

I think square point had one. Or if not quant then do JPMC which has similar details

Some ppl will never get it - that’s fine. You can’t save everyone nor should you bother trying.

Segment and compartmentalise your friends. Friends for life, friends for fun, friends for grinding together. Gym friends, sports friends.

Very rare you find a 1 of 1 person that has the exact same mindset as u

he is a grinder just did his grinding earlier on so cannot really relate. Says I am not being efficient enough while there may be some truth to that, I am not a perfect human being can only try you know. You make a good point though

It seems like you dont understand it either, given you dont have a job. No offense but this mega hardoness is a big turnoff and why kids dont get RO or dont get past superdays.

Some people aren’t meant to ‘grind’ and you’ll never know why. They possibly might not care or already have a job offer via their family connects. Point is, you’re doing this for yourself so you should focus on your goals. Allocate some friends to partying and some for the ‘grind’. Let ppl think what they want, they won’t be paying your bills.

In a similar spot but more of in a seperate country wanting to explore but still unemployed.
